They say that a photograph is capturing a moment in time. That’s pretty cheesy, if you ask me, albeit rather true. Well if photos are freezing a moment in time- video is keeping it alive!

So why not add a video into the mix for your family shoot? If you’re wondering what it entails: you choose an activity you love doing together as a family and then we kinda all just hang out for a few hours. It’s a super chilled, but also super fun way to make the most of a shoot.

When we do a video, we focus more on the video with a few images thrown in for good measure, so you get a bit of both.

Make it personal

These sessions are not a one-size-fits all, so picking an activity which we centre the shoot around, is so important: do you enjoy going to the park together? Or maybe card or board games at home? Or maybe just story time and some snuggles in bed? The more you it is, the more meaningful the end result will be!
